What are the internet requirements I can share with my technology coordinator to help us prepare for digital testing?
Based on recent pilot administrations of the digital SAT, you can share the following recommendations with your technology coordinator to prepare for digital testing at your test center:
Network bandwidth
Plan for 100-200 Kbps for each student taking the exam at the same time over the same network. To determine your network speed, please run a test at collegeboard.speedtestcustom.com.
Wireless Access Points
Make sure there’s adequate coverage and range for the wireless access point configuration throughout the test center being used for digital testing.

Ports and Protocols
See the ports and protocols used by the digital testing application below. Ensure that all necessary content filters, firewalls, and proxy servers are open.

Purpose: HTTPS (secure connection)
URLs for Testing
To ensure successful transmission of student responses, we strongly encourage test centers to add this URL to allow internet traffic to and from College Board and set it at the root level using a wildcard.
