BigFuture Scholarships simplify the college planning process and give you chances to earn money for college. When you take steps on BigFuture to prepare for college, you can become eligible for monthly $500 and $40,000 scholarships.
After completing one or more of the six college planning steps on BigFuture, students in the class of 2023 will be automatically entered into drawings for $500 and $40,000 scholarships. Note: Students can opt out of drawings.
Students in the class of 2023 with a College Board account who attend high school in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories are eligible for drawing entries. U.S. citizens and residents attending Department of Defense Education Activity schools abroad are also eligible.
How to Qualify
To qualify for BigFuture scholarship, earn entries in monthly drawings by completing one or more of the six steps to plan for college. The sooner you start and the more steps you complete, the more chances you'll have to win. After you complete a step to earn entries into drawings at the end of the month, your entries will be re-entered into drawings for future months.Earn your first drawing entry now

Fill out the free government form to apply for financial aid. Students who are ineligible to complete the FAFSA can still earn this scholarship.
