FAQ

How do I order tests?

If you have been assigned the SAT Suite ordering role by your access manager, you can use the SAT Suite Ordering and Registration (SSOR) site to order tests in the SAT Suite of Assessments—SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9. Note: Work with your district to understand what they plan to order on your behalf. If your district places an order for you, you shouldn't place a duplicate order for that assessment and grade combination.

  1. Click the Order New Digital Tests button.
  2. Enter the number of tests you need for each assessment. Note: This should be the largest number of tests you might need.
  3. Confirm the tests for which you are placing your order.
  4. Choose a start date for your testing window for each assessment in your order. If your district already placed an order for the same assessment, then you will see the date they selected. Depending on how they placed their order, you may be able to adjust the district-chosen date. If you don't see the calendar button, then you can't adjust the date selected by your district. Note: Schools have discretion to change their planned test date(s) without informing College Board or completing any additional steps in SSOR, although the original intended test date may be referenced in email communications.
  5. Choose grades for each assessment in your order. Note: If your district already ordered the tests and grades you intend to test, then you don't need to place an additional order. Don't select grades you don't intend to test.
  6. Confirm or edit contact information for your school.
  7. Optional: Enter a purchase order number for your order if needed.
  8. Review your order and submit.
