Log Back In for Second Semester Guidance

If you took the PSAT/NMSQT in fall 2023 and have access to the BigFuture® School mobile app, you probably checked your scores already. There's more information you won’t want to miss:

College and career tips for the second semester

Career ideas for you based on your location and intended majors

New messages from colleges interested in you (if you opted in to Connections)

Connect with Colleges and Scholarships

Based on your school or district, you may have the option to participate in Connections™. Connections is a free program that lets you hear from nonprofit colleges, scholarships, and educational organizations. It delivers messages in the BigFuture School app and by mail from organizations that are interested in you based on information you and your school, district, or state provide when you take an in-school College Board assessment—including your score range—to make connections that are relevant to you. If you're interested in any of the colleges or programs, you can decide to share your contact information with them. The educational and career interests and preferences you share with us in BigFuture School may also be used to tailor the content you see in Connections. With Connections, your personal information will never be shared with any organization unless you decide you want to contact them.

I signed up for Connections so I could broaden my college list as I finish high school. I don't have many options in mind to apply to, so it helps me to see what programs schools have and what they offer.

Accessing BigFuture School

When you take the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or SAT in school on a weekday, you'll have the option to share your mobile number to access the mobile app.

Text Notifications

After you complete the test, you'll be texted a link to download the app, a code you can use to log in, and an alert when your scores are ready.

Privacy First

Your phone number won’t be shared or used for any other reason.

Once you download the app, start exploring for help planning for college and career! BigFuture School will be updated regularly with content that's relevant to you.

As a high schooler, many of us don't know where to find information about standardized tests, financial aid, and what universities are looking for. I think this mobile app helps to solve that problem by providing one location about college information.

In addition to BigFuture School, you'll receive your scores from your school. Ask your school counselor for a copy of your official score report.

As always, you may log in to your personal College Board account at studentscores.collegeboard.org to get additional insights about your scores and explore other free resources like BigFuture.
