Digital SAT Student FAQ: Practice
FAQ
Do I need a College Board account to practice?
You can access many of our free, official practice resources without an account. However, you'll need to sign in to Bluebook™ to access the full-length adaptive digital practice tests and the test preview, a short set of questions that give you a feel for testing with Bluebook.
If you're signed into Bluebook™ with a College Board account, you can use the same credentials to log in to My Practice and view your scores from our full-length practice tests, along with your official scores from any assessment in the SAT Suite.
If you sign in to Bluebook with sign-in credentials from your school, you can also see your practice scores and access additional practice resources in My Practice. Please note that these sign-in credentials expire after 90 days, so you won't be able to view your scores once your credentials have expired. As always, students age 13 and older may use a personal College Board student account to view their scores.
Do I need a College Board account to register for the test?
If you're testing in your school, you do not need a personal College Board student account to register for or take the test. Your school will provide you with sign-in credentials.
If you're testing on the weekend, you will need to create a personal College Board student account in order to register. Creating a personal College Board student account also provides you with access to personalized content for multiple programs and services. For more information, see our resource, Creating A College Board Account.
Do I need to download the Bluebook™ app to practice?
Yes. You'll need to download the Bluebook app to access the full-length digital practice tests and the test preview. You can download the Bluebook testing app now. Practice is also provided if you can't take the test in Bluebook. See more information at Full-Length Linear SAT Practice Tests (Nonadaptive). Your school can order a braille paper practice test if you're approved for this accommodation.
