The SAT is a globally recognized assessment that helps students unlock college opportunities. Each year, students in over 180 countries take the SAT to apply to universities in the U.S. and around the world. In the class of 2025, over two million students chose to take the SAT.

Starting in fall 2026, SAT centers with an Attending Institution (AI) school code can reserve some weekend seats for their students before public release.

Most institutions already meet the core facility and technology requirements to be a test center. College Board provides training, guidance, and ongoing support to help ensure smooth administration. 99% of SAT Weekend staff rate their experience as excellent or good.
