Online Score Reports for Educators
Educators can access aggregate and student-level score and score performance reports using the appropriate score reporting portal for the SAT Suite of Assessments.
- K–12 Educators access scores and reporting for the entire SAT Suite of Assessments using the K–12 score reporting portal.
- Higher Ed Professionals access scores and reporting for students who have sent them SAT Scores using the Higher education score reporting portal.
To access the reporting portals, you must be granted access by your institution's reporting portal access manager. More information on accessing the score reporting portal can be found here for K-12 educators, and here for higher education professionals.
K–12 Educator Reporting
The higher education reporting portal provides access to student results for SAT scores that have been sent to your institution. In the reporting portal, you can:
- Find students who have sent you scores and download their official PDF score report.
- Access score-send trend reports that provide year-over-year student score send trend data.
- Download school (AI/CEEB) and college (DI/CEEB) code lists.
Electronic Score Report (ESR) Data Files
You can also download preformatted electronic score report data files that provide raw data that can be imported into your student information systems. The portals provides ESRs in two formats: (1) comma-delimited (CSV) and (2) fixed-width (TXT). You can download files manually or use an automated download web service to download them.
These files are available to educators in the online score reporting portal's Raw Data Files for Your Systems view in Downloads. If you don't see the Raw Data Files for Your Systems option in Downloads when you sign in, request a file downloads role from your institution's access manager.
If you plan to use ESR data files, be sure to review the data file layouts and sample files to understand how student and score data is reported in each available ESR format.
Note: The TXT file format is fully compatible with Naviance. Download the TXT file directly from Raw Data Files for Your Systems to your desktop or network drive, then upload it to Naviance. Be careful not open the file in Excel prior to uploading it, as doing so will make the file incompatible with Naviance.
