Score Releases and Reporting Timeframes

For all assessments in the SAT Suite, scores are released to students and educators at different times. To prepare for score releases for tests you are administering, see the score release schedule.

College Board holds student scores when a test day irregularity occurs. You can use the K–12 reporting portal to identify students whose scores may be on hold.

Viewing Score Holds in Aggregate Reports

When running an aggregate report such as the Performance by All Students report, you can view the total number of students who took the test as well as the number of students whose scores are on hold. A message is displayed in the report to show how many students have scores that are on hold.

Viewing Individual Students with Score Holds in the Roster Report

When viewing scores for students in the roster report, use the Scores Released column to identify if scores have been placed on hold. View the SAT Score Holds webpage for more information on score holds and reporting.
