Test Dates and Deadlines
The fall 2026 testing window for all assessments in the SAT Suite is October 1—October 30. Ordering is already open for spring testing.
Districts and schools will be able to administer all three assessments on as many days of the testing window as needed.
In the timetable below, you can cross-reference important deadlines for various testing staff tasks based on your school's intended testing week.

| Ordering & Late Fee Policy Standard ordering period: College Board recommends you place your order as early as possible but no later than 3 weeks prior to your intended testing date. Orders placed on or before September 30, 2026 will not incur a late fee. Late ordering: New orders placed on or after October 1, 2026 for fall and on or after March 1, 2027 for spring will incur a late fee. |

Ordering, registration, training, access, and readiness dates are recommended for best possible experience.
Users who order before registration/Test Day Toolkit launch will receive system access emails the day systems open.
Users who order after registration/Test Day Toolkit launch will receive system access the same day their order is placed, often within minutes of ordering.
