Working with Raise, the College Board Honoraria Vendor

Here is some important information about working with the College Board payment vendor, Raise.

Steps to Set Up Payment

College Board recently reached out to active test center coordinators requesting your permission to share your first and last name and your email address with Raise. Here are the next steps to follow, if you haven’t already done so:

  • Respond by accessing and signing the SAT Weekend Testing Staff Agreement, which grants permission to share your information with Raise. If you didn’t receive a consent email, contact the Educator Support number listed in the Coordinator Manual.
  • After granting your permission, you’ll receive a welcome email from Raise with instructions for setting up payment.
  • Follow these instructions to help your staff get set up for payment:
    • Your consent email from College Board contains a separate "Staff only" link for your staff to access the SAT Weekend Testing Staff Agreement and provide their consent to share their information. Be sure to send this link along with your 5-digit test center number to each staff person as you recruit them, with instructions to respond by agreeing to the SAT Weekend Testing Staff Agreement.
      Important: Staff cannot be paid unless they complete the SAT Weekend Staff Agreement, which includes giving their consent to share their first name, last name, and email address with Raise.
    • Once they sign the agreement, staff will receive a welcome email from Raise with payment setup instructions.
    • Before test day, access the Raise Roster in the banner at the top of the Raise application to see the onboarding status of each member of your staff, along with a list of those who have already provided their consent. Follow up with any testing staff who aren’t on the list to take the necessary steps.

Once you are set up, learn more about the Raise platform, which provides the following benefits:

  • User-friendly web app: The Raise platform makes it easy for test center coordinators and staff to register for payments, update information in real time, and track payment status on demand.
  • Access to 24-hour customer service support: Agents will be available to assist with any of your payment needs via phone, email, or chat.

Raise will work with our international staff to reduce or eliminate foreign currency conversion fees by their local banks to the greatest extent possible.
