Who Will See My Score?

College Board sends scores to:

  • Schools
  • Districts (in many cases)
  • States (in many cases)

If you took the SAT and you request that we send your scores to colleges or other organizations, we will send your SAT scores along with other information to those colleges and organizations, as further described at SAT Score Reporting and SAT Scores.

We automatically send your scores and information to certain scholarship programs, unless you choose to opt out by contacting Customer Service. This includes your state scholarship organization, if any, and the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program if you took the SAT test in the U.S., U.S. territories, or Puerto Rico, or are a U.S. citizen taking the test abroad.
