FAQ
Do students need College Board approval to use test accommodations for the PSAT 8/9?
In most cases, PSAT 8/9 accommodations are approved by schools only. If your state requires College Board approval, students do need to go through the College Board request process before taking the exam.
Although students don't usually need College Board approval to take the PSAT 8/9 with accommodations, they'll need approval for other College Board assessments like the SAT and AP Exams.
If students need accommodated test formats—such as braille, large print, or prerecorded audio (MP3 via streaming)—schools must order them by the ordering deadline.
