FAQ

What happens during the student readiness check?

The student readiness check is a 30-minute session where students familiarize themselves with Bluebook while schools check their device and technical readiness. Schools that complete the student readiness check have a lower incident rate of irregularities on test day. In these sessions, students will sign in to Bluebook, run a quick device check, complete exam setup, and try out a test preview. All students are required to complete exam setup before testing. There is a Student Readiness Check chapter in both the Test Coordinator Manual and Proctor Manual with comprehensive instructions for preparing for and administering the readiness check. Students can also read more about the student readiness check.
