If your test center makes the decision to close or reduce capacity between now and test day, College Board may need to get in touch with you. Here's how you can make sure we're able to contact you.
Sign into your College Board account.
Sign in to My SAT with your College Board username and password.
Confirm your email address and mobile phone number.
Click on your profile in the top right-hand corner, then click Account Settings. This will open a page with your personal information.
Check the email address we have on file for you, and make sure it's the correct one you want to use to receive emails from us.
Check the mobile phone number we have on file for you, and make sure it's also the correct one you want to use to receive text messages about your test day.
For students in the U.S., if you don't already have a mobile phone number listed, click Edit to add it.
Make sure you're subscribed to College Board emails and text messages.
On the same personal information page, click on the Subscriptions tab. Under Student Emails, check the box next to SAT & PSAT-related Assessments.
For students in the U.S., under Text Messaging, select "Yes, please opt me in to receive text messages." Then, click the Update my preferences button.
Make sure your email account recognizes College Board emails. Sign into your email account and add [email protected] and [email protected] to your "approved sender" or "safe sender" list. Add these email addresses to your contacts in your email account as well.
If you forget your username or password, don't create another account.
If you forgot your username, click Forgot Username, and then submit the email address associated with your College Board account. We'll email you all of the usernames associated with your account and indicate which are associated with a College Board test record.
If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password. Submit the username and email address associated with your account. Answer your security question. If you can't answer it, click Reset Your Password on the security question page to have password reset instructions emailed to you.
