Getting Started

Welcome to the Educator Experience!

This space is intended to help state contract SAT Suite of Assessments testing staff prepare for testing. It includes information about and access to these other channels that you’re expected to interact with.

College Board Required Training

All staff are required to complete training modules that cover topics specific to the expectations of their role.

Roles and their Resources

Our staff manuals and resources contain comprehensive information about preparing for testing. They accompany the training modules.

State Data Management System (SDMS) Tasks

Authorized users manage registration for the SAT Suite of Assessments in the State Data Management System (SDMS) site.

Digital Testing Applications

Bluebook and Test Day Toolkit work together to make digital testing possible for the SAT, PSAT-related assessments, and AP Exams.

Please also refer to information provided by your state regarding test dates, policies, and processes for spring testing.

Important: If you are NOT administering SAT School Day, PSAT 10, and/or PSAT 8/9 as part of your state testing program, navigate to the In-School Testing section.

There are different roles, tools, and procedures for the digital tests to get familiar with. Read through the information in these pages as well as access downloadable resources to help you prepare. If you're on a mobile view, click "Explore" to expand the hierarchy of pages. If you don't see your specific state listed here, use the PDFs listed under your role under Roles and Their Resources within this site's navigation.

Resources

While all staff have specific resources (see Roles and Their Resources), state educators should review the below list to ensure they also have their state-specific manuals and guides to prepare for testing.
