Test Coordinator
The test coordinator is expected to be at the school to supervise all activities related to the test administration. Responsibilities include:
- Complete the required College Board training and read the Test Coordinator Manual before test day.
- With the SSD coordinator, validate the Test Day Toolkit roster for their school is accurate and includes all students testing at their school.
- Recruit and train staff.
- Plan efficient use of facilities.
- Ensure the student registration data is complete and correct.
- Administer digital readiness check with school staff and students.
- Consider retest/reschedule options with principal and let proctors know if a retest can be supported. This will help proctors complete the correct irregularity form if they need to submit an irregularity.
- Use Test Day Toolkit to assign staff to rooms and print sign-in tickets for students.
- Supervise all activities of the test administration.
If your school is testing fewer than 35 students in the same room, the test coordinator can take on one additional role by also serving as the proctor, hall monitor, or technology monitor. If the coordinator will be proctoring the room, a separate hall monitor needs to be recruited so two staff members are present on test day.
Interactive Checklist Tool
The Interactive Checklist Tool for test coordinators is designed to help schools organize the tasks they need to complete for the spring test administration. Schools receive:
- A school-specific checklist.
- Automated email reminders, in which they can mark tasks as complete or let College Board know they need support.
- Districts will have access to a district-level dashboard to monitor their schools' progress on preparation activities.
