On test day, SAT School Day coordinators follow a defined schedule, equip testing rooms, and admit students to the testing area.
Details are provided in the SAT School Day Coordinator Manual.
Ensure that all staff, including proctors and monitors, have everything they need for their roles. Provide them with all required materials.
This manual provides detailed procedures to follow before, during, and after the SAT School Day administration.
You can check in students in each classroom or at a central location.
Keep unauthorized people out of the testing area. Respond to any incidents or escalations. Also, be prepared to proctor or monitor an exam in case the designated staff is unable to do so.
If a test irregularity occurs, ask the proctor assigned to the test room to complete an irregularity report. Follow the instructions in the coordinator manual about how to return the irregularity report with other test materials.
If you have enough test materials, the student can take the test. Students can provide their demographic information after the test.
