Technology Monitor
Each testing site will need a technology monitor to stay in the help room and assist students with technical issues on test day. The help room should be close to the testing rooms, and there should be adequate outlets and desks/tables to accommodate students who need assistance.
Before test day, you may also need to attend the student readiness check to help students who encounter persistent issues that keep them from advancing through exam setup.
Technology monitors help students resolve problems that take more time and attention so proctors can focus on their other responsibilities. The only troubleshooting steps you'll follow are listed in the Technical Troubleshooting Guide. Read through this guide and complete College Board required training as you prepare for test day.
