AP Potential™
You can use the K–12 reporting portal to view student AP potential based off their performance on a test in the SAT Suite. You can view details about AP in three places:
Online Roster Reports
When you run an online roster report for a test, an indicator displays whether or not the student is showing potential in one or more AP courses based off their test scores.
- You may need to use the show/hide columns feature to add the AP Potential column to the report.
- You can click on the student's name to view their online report to get more details on their AP potential.
Online Student Score Report for K–12
When you click on a student, either by searching for a student or from a roster report, you can view their online student score report. Included in the online report is an AP Potential section that provides a list of Advanced Placement (AP) courses the student is likely to do well in. It includes indicators representing a student's potential for success based off their performance on a test in the SAT Suite. This includes identifying AP courses where a student is showing potential, showing some potential, or not yet demonstrating potential.
Electronic Score Report Data Files
You can also view AP Potential reported in the electronic score report data files delivered to your organization after scores are released.
View the data file layouts on our scores webpage for more details on how AP Potential is reported in these files.
Educators also have access to the AP Potential tool that can provide them more insight into student AP potential. View information in the "AP Potential Tool" section of this help center.
