Digital Testing Overview Timeline

Digital PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 Overview

The first digital administration of the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 will take place in fall 2023. To help you prepare for a successful digital testing experience, a high-level timeline is provided below. More administration details and deadlines will be shared later this spring through emails, webinars, and on-demand modules. We encourage you to bookmark the links in this table for easy reference.

Get a head start this spring:

  • Review technology requirements. Make a plan to install Bluebook™ on managed devices for fall testing.
  • Update accommodations requests. Remember, students taking PSAT 8/9 with accommodations must have accommodations requests entered in SSD Online.
  • Plan your testing schedule. If you're planning to administer SAT School Day in addition to digital PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9, please remember SAT School Day will still be a paper/pencil administration until spring 2024.
